Human papillomavirus:

HPV is a sexually transmitted viral infection (vaginal, oral, or anal).

 

There are hundreds of species.

The infection appears in the form of infection in the affected areas

 An infected person carrying the disease may 

It is without apparent symptoms 

Transmission is sometimes through contact with the infected area, oneself or from other people 

Why is awareness about it and prevention of it an utmost necessity?? 

_ It causes infectious infections 

_It develops into cancer in the affected areas (cervix, throat, anus, and vulva)

 

Ways to prevent it

1. The vaccine, which is the HPV vaccine, is usually given to males and females between the ages of 9 and 14, with some age exceptions, according to medical advice.

2. Legal sexual practices and only one partner.

3. Cervical smear based on appropriate medical recommendations.

 

 Methods of treatment for it:

 Ironing toilets and giving ointments, bearing in mind that the treatment does not completely eliminate the virus but only treats the infection.
